As Victoria’s premier community and agricultural event, the Royal Melbourne Show is poised to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the state during its 11-day run.

Attendees can look forward to thrilling new farm experiences, engaging live entertainment for the whole family, and the eagerly anticipated return of the nightly fireworks display.

To mark the 60th anniversary of the cherished Animal Nursery, the show will feature more than 250 cuddly animals, celebrating Victoria’s farming and agriculture.

The event will also include blue-ribbon competitions across horses, beef cattle, sheep, alpacas, show dogs, woodchopping, arts, crafts and crookery.

One of the key attractions is the annual Melbourne Royal Fleece competition, where expert judges evaluate the economic value of the fleeces, giving visitors a chance to appreciate a quintessential Australian product.

Thrill-seekers will enjoy new rides like The Phoenix and Wave Swinger, along with more than 350 popular showbags featuring favourites from Bertie Beetle to Bluey and AFL teams.

Foodies will delight in the new Asian-fusion food precinct, as well as an appearance from the iconic Country Women’s Foundation of Victoria, offering its famous scones with jam and cream alongside baked goods, preserves and breakfast classics.
