Distribution

We print and distribute 14,000 copies of the North West City News at the start of each month. With a conservative multiplier of 2.5 readers per paper, this translates to 35,000 monthly readers.

A proportion of readers are from outside North & West Melbourne, Kensington and Parkville Gardens. They are visitors to the area who pick up the paper from one numerous pick-up baskets which we have placed in high-traffic areas.

The rest go to residents and workers in our four suburbs. We deliver into the letterboxes of every apartment and business in North & West Melbourne, Kensington and Parkville Gardens. According to latest data from Roy Morgan Research, around 45,000 people live in these suburbs.

Our papers are kept “topped up” throughout the month in a number of high-traffic areas including Arden Gardens, Errol St IGA, Foodworks West Melbourne, The Spencer, Flemington Library, Kensington Recreation Centre, Foodworks Macauley Rd, North Melbourne Library and Foodworks Queensberry St.

Our papers can be found in all businesses, with multiple copies in dozens of cafes and other places where people gather.
