And the winner of our 50th edition photo competition is …

Congratulations to North Melbourne resident Britany Parkes for sharing this classic photo capturing North Melbourne Town Hall in the wintry afternoon light.

A huge thank you, to the many who entered our photo competition from July celebrating the 50th edition of North West City News.

While we were overwhelmed with the number of entries, which captured a range of wonderful and interesting local scenes across North and West Melbourne and Kensington, Britany’s photo ultimately got the nod.

I took this photo of the iconic North Melbourne Town Hall building on the day I moved to North Melbourne this month. I think it really captures the beauty of my new suburb!
