Consultation on Chelmsford St park still open

Kensington locals can still have their say on a concept plan for new open space at Chelmsford St, with the City of Melbourne welcoming feedback online until June 17 at 5pm.
The Chelmsford Street Open Space draft concept plan proposes replacing an existing building located at 70-90 Chelmsford St in Kensington with around 3600sqms of new public open space.
The council held a “community pop-up” at the Chelmsford St on June 1, and locals wanting to discuss the plans in-person can still do so via an information session at Chatty Café, Kensington Neighbourhood Centre at 18 Anthony St on June 13 from 1pm to 3pm.
