To lighten the administrative load for parents during school holidays, Kensington resident Sally Tonkin and her sister Andrea Silverback have unveiled an innovate new platform called Parents Little Helper.

Designed to consolidate school holiday programs into a single, user-friendly resource, Parents Little Helper aims to save families valuable time by offering a comprehensive array of school holiday activities.

Complete with search functionality to help parents find nearby programs that match their child's interests and age group, the platform supports families in the Cities of Melbourne and Moonee Valley with access to 30 local venues.

“As parents ourselves, we experienced the challenges of finding quality holiday programs for our kids,” co-founder and director Ms Silverback said,

“Existing online searches often fell short, either not showing local offerings or failing to match our children's interests. We saw an opportunity to create a platform that truly meets the needs of both parents and small businesses.”

Whether your child is interested in Ninja Warrior classes, skate workshops, circus skills, or craft activities, Parents Little Helper brings all the information together in one place.

“Our goal is to reduce the administrative burden on parents,” Ms Silverback said.

“School holidays should be a time for kids to explore, learn new skills, and build friendships, without parents having to spend hours searching for activities.”
