Tea, coffee and cello: Neighbourhood Gathering at Arts House

Tea, coffee and cello: Neighbourhood Gathering at Arts House

Arts House is hosting a free, light morning tea for the North and West Melbourne community on July 5.

The Neighbourhood Gathering is a chance to meet the Arts House team and hear more about its forthcoming program. Co-artistic director Nithya Nagarajan, alongside locals Lorna Hannan and Jonathan Craig, will chat about the performances, exhibitions and talks on offer from August until December.

The morning tea is also an opportunity to enjoy a performance from cellist and composer Zoë Barry, ahead of her show at Arts House in September. Barry is an acclaimed and award-winning musician who has performed at esteemed venues and festivals across the world, including the Lincoln Center, the John F Kennedy Centre for The Performing Arts, Dark Mofo and MONA FOMA, Edinburgh International Festival and many more. •

Bookings for the Neighbourhood Gathering are free and can be made at artshouse.com.au or by calling 9322 3720.
