Dance This Way

Dance This Way

By Sylvia Hungaria - President

North Melbourne will soon be awash with music, colour and dance as the Errol St Precinct comes alive with its very own street festival Dance This Way.

Happening on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday across the first three weeks of November, Dance This Way will be a must visit attraction for the family, showcasing exciting and interactive music and visual elements for all ages.

An initiative of the North and West Melbourne Precinct Association, funded through the City of Melbourne’s City Activation Grant, Dance This Way is designed to attract visitors to the area and promote the precinct.

The festival will feature a creative lighting installation, roving performers, retailer competitions and much more. Errol St will become a fun dance zone with Middle Eastern belly dancers, cheer leaders, Brazilian samba plus vibey beats, awesome lighting, colourful hanging installations and photo opportunities galore. There will be no option but for you and your friends to dance, smile and simply “Blame It On The Boogie”.

The traders in the area are also joining the party through retailer competitions and in house entertainment. During Dance This Way, customers who spend $25 or more in participating retailers may enter a fun competition called “Spin-To-Win”.

Get spending to be in the draw for daily prizes worth up to $100 and a major prize of a $500 Precinct Gift Card.
